FACILITIES SERVICES
- MAINTENANCE AIDE This is a part-time position. This position will be scheduled for 52 hours biweekly weekdays, first and second shift, with occasional weekends, and must be available on call for snow removal. The main function of this position is to provide essential custodial, janitorial and courier services to other Hospital departments as directed by Maintenance Management. HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT/QUALITY MANAGEMENT
- HIM/QM ASSISTANT This is a Full-Time position, 75 hours biweekly. This position will be scheduled Monday – Friday, .67 FTE in HIM and .26 FTE in QM. The main function of this position is to scan documents into the electronic document management system and examines pages to ensure image quality and complete AFI indexing. Assigns electronic deficiencies or ICR. Assures that the paper record is disposed of properly. Performs and provides secretarial, clerical and administrative support services to assist in the management of the Quality Management, Risk Management, and Medical Director activities of the Hospital utilizing various computer applications to include word processing, spreadsheets, databases and publishing programs. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalency, plus medical terminology course (or equivalent experience in related field). LABORATORY SERVICES
- LABORATORY ASSISTANT/PHLEBOTOMIST This is a part-time position and will be scheduled as needed, with weekend and holiday rotation. The main function of this position is to provide essential support (primarily specimen collection) functions for the technical and managerial personnel to provide accurate and timely laboratory tests to assist the clinician in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: High school graduation or equivalency, plus up to one year’s schooling in a medically-related area. MEDICAL IMAGING
- NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGIST Immediate opening for per diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist. This position performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals. Applies principles of radiation protection. Exercise professional judgment in performance of service. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate of approved formal program of study approved by the ARRT, the SNM and the Joint Review Committee on Educational program. New York State Department of Health License as Nuclear Medicine Technologist; Certification by the ARRT and the Board of Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist. MEDICAL PRACTICES
- MEDICAL PRACTICE LPN This is a per diem position and will be scheduled Monday through Friday, with the possibility of additional hours, or weekend & evening hours as patient care needs dictate. The main function of this position is to administer nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered professional nurse and/or MD. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties as qualified by licensure, orientation, and competency. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing. New York State LPN licensure and current registration required. One year acute care and/or one year doctor office experience with demonstrated excellent customer service skills and computer skills. Use of electronic medical record is required. NURSING & PATIENT CARE SERVICES
- REGISTERED NURSES Whether you are a new grad or an experienced nurse, we have a variety of opportunities to demonstrate your expertise. Professional growth is encouraged through participation in continuing education opportunities along with support for obtaining professional certifications. Requires graduate of an accredited school of nursing with New York State RN Licensure and current registration, or limited permit. NUTRITION SERVICES
- NUTRITION AIDE This is a part-time position. The main function of this position is to assemble and transport patient trays, clean and sanitize china, silver and glassware; to prepare and mix ingredients for salads, beverages, sandwiches, desserts and similar cold dishes. This position will be scheduled for a mix of day and evening shifts with weekend and holiday rotation required to provide staff coverage as needed. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: High School or GED, plus one month related experience or BOCES Certificate. Six months experience working in an institutional food service setting is preferred. REGISTRATION
- REGISTRATION CLERK/PBX OPERATOR This is a Part-Time position, approximately 30 hours biweekly. This position will be scheduled day and evening shifts with weekend and holiday rotation. The main function of this position is to register patients in an efficient manner, following hospital policy and procedure. Insures that accurate patient information is obtained and keyed into the computer system. Assists patients, families and all customers following the Quality Management Plan. According to specified procedures, operate a console telephone switchboard in order to relay incoming, outgoing and inter-office calls. Performs various hospital communications and clerical duties. Acts as hospital receptionist. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: High School plus completion of a keyboarding course. Completion of medical terminology course preferred.
